Job Description
Saudi AMS- Almas Medical Services is seeking a responsible and experienced Ambulance Driver to support ambulance transportation, emergency vehicle operations, and medical emergency response services at industrial and on-site medical facilities.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Valid Saudi driving licence appropriate for the assigned ambulance vehicle.
Minimum 1- 3 years of experience driving ambulances or emergency vehicles.
Good knowledge of Saudi road safety regulations and traffic rules.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Previous experience in industrial or emergency medical transportation is preferred.
Required Certifications
Valid BLS certification preferred.
Completion of an emergency vehicle driving course is preferred.
Valid Saudi Iqama with an appropriate driving profession, where applicable.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate ambulances for emergency and non-emergency patient transportation.
Respond promptly to ambulance dispatch calls and transportation requests.
Ensure ambulance readiness, cleanliness, and roadworthiness.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements.
Monitor fuel levels, tyres, lights, sirens, and other vehicle safety components.
Assist medical personnel with patient loading and unloading.
Maintain accurate vehicle inspection, trip, and transportation records.
Follow traffic regulations, emergency driving protocols, and client HSE requirements.
Ensure the ambulance is always ready for emergency deployment.
