Scope of Work- Tower Crane Rescue Team (IRATA Level
3)
1.
Rescue Team Deployment: Provide a minimum of two (
2) qualified and competent rescuers per shift, physically present on-site and on standby throughout tower crane operations.
The team will report directly to the EVL Site HSE Manager.
2.
Working Hours: Rescuers must comply with EVL ESEC working hours, operating in 12‑hour shifts (day and night).
3.
Rescue Capability: Ensure the team is fully capable of performing safe and efficient rescue operations for tower crane operators from an approximate height of 16 meters, in cases of illness, injury, incapacitation, or any emergency situation.
4.
Rescue Equipment: Provide and maintain at least two (
2) Gotcha rescue kits along with all necessary rescue equipment.
All equipment must be readily accessible, available on-site, and supported with valid inspection records.
5.
Training & Competency: All rescuers must be trained and competent in:

a.
Work-at-height rescue procedures
b.
Gotcha kit operation
c.
Casualty handling
d.
Emergency response protocols
6.
Medical Fitness Requirements: All personnel must hold valid medical fitness certificates.
Individuals with hypertension or diabetes shall not be assigned to the rescue team, in line with occupational health requirements.
7.
Emergency Drills: Conduct regular rescue drills (using a dummy) as requested.
Maintain proper documentation of drill results and corrective actions.
