Description
Role-
ABB Relay Configuration: Program and configure settings on ABB motor protection relays (REM615, REM620, REF615) using PCM600 software.
Secondary Injection Testing: Test relay protection functions (49M thermal, 50/51 overcurrent, 87M differential, 50N/51N ground fault, 48/66 motor start) using Omicron/Doble test equipment.
4.16 kV Scheme & Trip Testing: Verify CT/VT ratios, trip matrix logic, breaker trip/close circuits, lockout relays (86), and switchgear safety interlocks.
SCADA/DCS Integration: Test communication protocols (IEC 61850 / Modbus) to ensure accurate signals and event logs reach the control system.
Motor Startup Support & Reporting: Assist during initial motor test runs to monitor starting current profiles and deliver signed commissioning test reports.
