We're Hiring: Senior Laravel Backend Developer


Location: Tabuk, Saudi Arabia
Position: Full-Time, On-Site
Working Days: 6 Days per Week
Salary: Determined after interview based on experience and technical level
Minimum Experience: 5+ Years

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Laravel Backend Developer to join us full-time in Tabuk.
The position involves working on a large multi-tenant SaaS platform covering restaurant operations, workforce management, employee scheduling, approvals, inventory, procurement, accounting and integrations.
This is not a junior or basic Laravel position.
We are looking for someone who can understand complex business requirements, design the correct backend structure, identify edge cases and build systems that are reliable, scalable and maintainable.

Required Experience

The candidate should have strong practical experience in:

Laravel / PHP

Backend architecture

PostgreSQL / MySQL

REST APIs

Multi-tenant SaaS systems

Microservices

Database design

Complex business logic

Authentication and authorization

Roles and permissions

Queues and background jobs

Redis / caching

Events and asynchronous processing

Webhooks and third-party integrations

Database transactions and data integrity

Testing and debugging

Security and performance optimization

Git and professional development workflows

Accounting / ERP Experience Is a Strong Advantage

We strongly prefer candidates who have previously worked on accounting, ERP, inventory, POS, fintech or other transaction-heavy systems.
Experience with double-entry accounting is particularly valuable.
Knowledge of concepts such as the following is a major advantage:

General Ledger

Journal Entries

Debit / Credit

Chart of Accounts

Accounts Payable / Receivable

Inventory valuation

Cost of Goods Sold

Weighted-average costing

Adjustments and reversals

Financial periods

Reconciliation

You do not need to be an accountant, but you should understand how financial and inventory transactions must be designed correctly in software.

What We Expect From a Senior Developer

We are not looking for someone who only waits for a task and writes the requested API.
We need someone who can look at a requirement and think about:

What is the correct database structure?

What is the source of truth?

What happens if the same request is submitted twice?

What happens if a process fails halfway?

What happens when a queue retries?

How should historical data be preserved?

How should permissions be scoped?

How do we prevent data from one company being exposed to another?

How should transactions be reversed or corrected?

How will this design behave when the platform grows?

Understanding concepts such as idempotency, transaction integrity, retries, event-driven architecture, eventual consistency, auditability and distributed systems is a strong advantage.

Has 5+ years of real backend development experience

Has strong Laravel experience

Can work independently

Can understand complicated systems quickly

Can design before coding

Can identify technical risks and edge cases

Can challenge an incorrect approach and suggest a better one

Writes clean and maintainable code

Understands the importance of data integrity

Can troubleshoot difficult production problems

Has experience across more than one type of business system

Wants to take ownership of the backend rather than simply complete tickets

Previous experience as a Senior Backend Developer, Backend Lead, Technical Lead or Software Architect is highly preferred.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
Remote work is not available for this role.
