Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper / Assistant Storekeeper with hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, bulk material handling, and logistics coordination.
Candidates with experience in feed mills, manufacturing, or industrial warehouse environments will be highly preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock movements, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material receipts and dispatches, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations using ERP-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock control.

Handle bulk materials, raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods as required.

Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and other relevant documents.

Monitor stock levels, identify shortages or discrepancies, and report replenishment requirements.

Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely material availability.

Update stock movements and warehouse transactions in ERP or inventory management systems.

Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.

Ensure proper material identification, storage, stacking, and handling procedures.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety procedures.

Prepare and maintain goods receipt notes, material issue records, stock reports, and dispatch documentation.

Support loading and unloading activities and ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space.

Requirements and Qualifications

Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Assistant Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or in a similar role.

Feed mill experience is highly preferred.

Hands-on experience in warehousing operations, inventory control, and bulk material handling.

Experience in manufacturing, logistics, feed mills, or similar industrial environments.

Basic knowledge of ERP-based warehouse and inventory management processes.

Familiarity with stock reconciliation, goods receiving, material issuing, and dispatch procedures.

Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and record-keeping abilities.

Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and work effectively in an operational environment.

Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with practical experience in feed mill operations, bulk storage, raw material warehousing, and ERP-based inventory control will be given preference.
